The South Lodge Hotel is a welcoming community pub located in the small cathedral city of Ripon. The pub is situated in a desirable, residential area approximately half a mile south of the centre of Ripon. There is a broad mix of residents in the area to appeal to, as well as strong passing trade.

Trading Area & Facilities

Currently, the South Lodge Hotel has a well maintained traditional style with a bright and spacious feel. The layout consists of an open plan bar area with the horseshoe style bar being the main feature surrounded by mixed seating. To the back is a conservatory with additional seating.

Once the planned refurbishment works are complete, the pub will showcase a refreshed, contemporary interior decor complete with new or revamped fixtures & fittings and soft finishes throughout. Externally, the pub's facade will undergo a facelift, which will see much-improved kerb appeal through a new lighting & signage scheme.

The pub has a large car park at the front and a beer garden to the rear, which provides an excellent opportunity during the summer months. The beer garden will also benefit from investment by Star.

Private Accommodation

The private accommodation upstairs consists of three bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom, and lounge. Where required there will be appropriate works carried out in line with the Star Pubs & Bars Ready to Trade Promise.
