The Saracens Head is situated in the historical village of Halsall, nestled in the beautiful Lancashire countryside, and perched alongside the banks of the Leeds/Liverpool canal. The venue itself is over 100 hundred years old and is renowned throughout the Northwest for its idyllic picture postcard setting. This is a destination site, the only pub in the village. Our Demographics information shows that within a 20 minute drive time the number of 18 plus adults is 278,458.

We are looking for an experienced Multiple Operator

Are you a talented operator who has prior experience running a similar business? You will be as passionate about pubs as we are and understand the importance of great food and great service. It would be preferable if you have prior experience running a similar business.

Business Development Manager's Vision

This is a business that does exceptionally well in spring/summer/autumn months and has a downturn in trade in the winter months. This business needs flexibility in the team that supports in the quieter months. Ideally the Saracens Head would benefit from a multiple operator who can flex the team as and when required.

Trading Area & Facilities

Internally the Saracens Head is decorated to a very premium high standard throughout, a gorgeous venue. Able to cater for functions of up to 120 guests in the bar and lounge areas, group bookings for 40 people in the main and private dining in the canal room for up to 25 guests. This is a venue that can cater for all those special occasions, it can be as big or intimate as you want it to be.

Externally the Saracens Head is a breath-taking beautiful venue, what a location. Alfresco dining or enjoying your drink of choice is such a treat with the exceptional surroundings and picturesque views. Whilst you enjoy the views, children can be entertained in the play area, something for everyone.

There is also a sizeable car park allowing this pub to thrive as a destination outlet.
