The Reiver is located in a large residential area to the west of Carlisle's city centre and a much-loved community pub there to service the 3,000 adults in the area with no other competition in the community sector. The Reiver has been a true community pub catering for all, known for its busy events calendar, showing live sports, hosting darts and football teams and extremely popular live music nights.

Under Just Add Talent the drinks range is centrally driven and will have both leading national brands and local heroes, allowing this pub to excel in its local market.

The food offer will be based on pub classics with a focus on quality and provenance, and there is the opportunity to expand this offer with our bolt on specials and this can be agreed as part of our business planning discussions.

This pub is subject to a proposed refurbishment, the details of which are being worked up. While we don't have any further details to share right now, we are welcoming applications.

Just Add Talent is a lower risk and high support agreement which offers a 'foot in the door' to the leased and tenanted industry. With fixed in goings of only £4,000, you will be given the support and training you need to develop your skills and run a successful pub with Star Pubs & Bars.

Trading Area & Facilities

Internally, the Reiver is a very large open plan space with different trading areas for drinking, dining and pub games.

The pub benefits from a large catering kitchen with good storage.

Externally, the pub has a modern red brick facade. There is an outside trading area to the front with picnic benches to make the most of the summer months and a large car park to the rear.

Private Accommodation

The private accommodation is a good size and consists of three bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Where required there will be appropriate works carried out in line with the Star Pubs & Bars Ready to Trade promise.
