Internally the pub will undergo a full refurbishment with bright coloured furniture and fixed seating throughout to create a fun and lively atmosphere to the bar. Clusters of bric-a-brac will be throughout the pub to tie in the traditional feel of the site. A separate dining area will be created with comfortable seating, suitable for all to relax and enjoy the new food offer.
Externally an outside trading area will be created with industrial style picnic bench seating with planters and bric-a-brac to add life and colour.

Applicants should be aware that all refurbishments are subject to final board approval which will be determined as part of the leasing process.

Where a significant investment is made in a pub by Star Pubs & Bars, an "Investment Exemption" will be required. The exemption means that the option of a Market Rent Option lease won't be available at rent review for a period of up to seven years for this site, as per The Pub Code (2016).
