The Albert Inn is a longstanding local within the town of Yeadon, Leeds. The planned refurbishment will put this pub back on the map as a firm favourite with the local community. The pub already has an established reputation within the area with many regular visitors stopping by to enjoy one of the many live sporting events that the pub shows. Sports are big business at this pub - widescreen TVs are dispersed through all trading areas to showcase the latest matches. Pub games such as pool and darts are also key to the pub's trade, with a separate area of the pub dedicated to this.

Trading Area & Facilities

Inside the pub will receive a total revamp. Works to the bar area will include adding new Altro flooring, new slate tiles to the apron area in front of the bar, a new drinks shelf will be added and new overhead lighting positions. There will also be a new screen on the bar area, as well as new furniture and fixed bay seating.

Where a significant investment is made in a pub by Star Pubs & Bars, an "Investment Exemption" will be required. This means that the option of a Market Rent Option lease won't be available at rent review for a period of up to seven years for this site. This applies to all pubs in England & Wales as per The Pub Code (2016).
