Situated on a main road within the village of Messingham, North Lincolnshire, The Green Tree is an established community pub known for serving a great pint in a welcoming atmosphere. The pub has a strong focus on community due to its village setting with locals gathering at the pub to socialise and celebrate special occasions. Demographics of the area consist mainly of young families and older retired couples, many of whom were raised locally.

The pub currently only serves food on a Sunday during lunch time but there is opportunity to grow this offer and expand into a weekly day trade offering simple pub classics such as pies and fish and chips. Entertainment is a big focus at the pub, with darts tournaments and live music currently drawing the crowds.

Community is key at The Green Tree and we are now looking to partner with a skilled publican who has prior experience running a pub that is the hub of its local community. You will know the local area well and take pride in your ability to run a great pub. Prior experience of working with food will also be preferred.

Trading Area & Facilities

Inside, the pub is in great condition and has an appealing interior design. Overall the pub feels modern due to its colour scheme and flooring but the furniture and beamed ceilings still give it a rural charm. Divided into various rooms, there is plenty of space to dedicate to either drinking or casual dining.

Outside, the building is a charming red bricked terrace that has a sizeable beer garden. With a little TLC this area could be really appealing during the summer months - the perfect place to hold family fun days or charity BBQs.
